The par 5 5th hole will yield its fair share of birdie opportunities. Nicknamed “Trolley Troubles” during design, your approach shot to this large and receptive green will need to bypass former trolley tracks for the Stillwater line of the Twin City Rapid Transit Company.
To cross the trolley bed, you will need to put your shot between two maples. These “goal posts” will be major obstacles in years to come. The trolley bed will be saddled so you can bounce your shot over or run the ball along the fairway.
