Garrett Gill is celebrating his 44th year in the golf course design business. In 1976, Garrett began working with his father David Gill, cutting his teeth on projects around Illinois, Indiana and South Dakota. Now enjoying his fifth decade in the golf course business, Garrett continues to enjoy the vast array of challenges presented by his clients in both the public and private sector. Golf is changing and Gill Design is changing with the times. We recognize the “new normal” in the golf industry: smaller maintenance budgets, less personnel, pressures to grow the game … essentially, doing much more with much less. We are familiar with how society has changed in the last couple decades. Families are spending their recreational time and dollars differently and the demands of the workplace leave little time for golf.
